Sport on Jersey
Jersey participates in both the Commonwealth Games (held every 4 years) and in the Island Games (held twice a year). Jersey has its own football association, which hosts the annual Muratti competition. Another established event is the Jersey marathon. Popular sports in Jersey also include cricket, cycling, golf, horse racing, motor sports, rugby, swimming and pétanque. Shopping on Jersey
There are plenty of shops all over the Channel Islands, but the most popular shopping destination is St Helier on Jersey. There is also Morrisons Superstore La Vallee Des Vaux, a very large supermarket. Jersey Pearl offers the largest amount of pearl jewellery of the Channel Islands.

There are a few nightclubs and bars located on Jersey, for example the Liquid & Envy, Chambers, Varda, Club 72, La Cala, The Havana Club, Watersplash and Platinum.
Transport on Jersey
Jersey Airport (JER) in the parish of St Peter has regular flights to and from Jersey. Jersey Airport is served by Aer Lingus, Air Berlin, Aurigny Air Services, Blue Islands, British Airways, CityJet, EasyJet, Flybe, Jet2.com and Lufthansa.
There are buses running across the island to bring you to almost every destination on Jersey.
Ferries operate between Guernsey and Jersey, the UK and France.
