Preserved in time, the Douglas Bay Horse Tramway is a unique way to discover the capital, however, it is the Snaefell Mountain Railway that is the highlight. This electric railway takes passengers from Laxey to the summit of Snaefell, the island’s highest peak. Peel Castle

As one of the most important historic and religious sites not only on the Isle of Man but in the British Isles, Peel Castle is a former place of worship that became the mediaeval fortress that was home to a Viking King.
